Ben's New Heart!!!
Ben got his new heart last night around 10 pm. All went well and the doctors were very pleased with the procedure. He was back in his room with a new heart around 1:30 am this morning. I have not heard anything since then but I will let you all know as the days go on how things are going. Pray that his body accepts the heart well and that he will be able to recover speedily so that we can all enjoy the Ben that we love again outside the hospital walls.

we are rejoicing over the good news of Ben having a new heart. Our prayers will continue as he heals and adapts to what God provides.

Many are praying and are thanking the Lord today for this good news.
Our Love and prayers continue for Ethel, Meaghan and Ben and my brother Leslie Newell also.
We have to keep the continent balanced so there are many, many, many good wishes and prayers that have been lifted up for Ben from South Carolina! We are so thrilled that the operation is over and the recovery can begin!!! Love from Nancy and Vern

Praise the LORD...He is Good! We come to Him asking for miracles and He shows them to us in the lives' of the Newell Family. Ben, you are awesome! I pray for that heart to become apart of you and for you to be well enough to come home soon! Our continued prayers are with the donor's family, Meaghan and Ethel, Logan and Emma, and those around them who haved reached out to help... Thank you LORD!!!
